Terms of Service
Last updated October 31, 2026
This is a draft. Bunch isn’t open to the public yet, and this text takes effect when it is.
These terms are an agreement between you and Dioteck LLC, an Alabama limited liability company doing business as Bunch ("Bunch", "we", "us"). They cover the Bunch app and this website. By creating an account or using Bunch, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your information.
Who can use Bunch
You must be at least 18 and live in the United States to create an account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to your email address secure. You may add other people to a household, including children; when you record information about someone else, such as a child's allergies, you confirm you have the right to do so.
What Bunch does, and what it doesn't
Bunch helps a household plan meals: who's eating, what to cook, what to shop for, and what to do with leftovers. It's a planning tool. Please read this part carefully:
- Bunch doesn't make food safe. It never confirms that a food or meal is free of an allergen or suits a diet. It works from what you record and from ingredient information that can be incomplete or wrong: products change, labels vary, and kitchens cross-contaminate. Always read labels and use your own judgment, especially for allergies.
- "Unverified" means unverified. When Bunch can't tell whether something suits someone, it says so. Treat it as unknown.
- Leftover and freshness reminders are cautious estimates, based on published food-safety guidance. They're not a guarantee that food is safe to eat.
- Amounts, package sizes and grocery lists are estimates. Check before you buy.
- Bunch isn't medical or nutrition advice. For allergies and medical diets, follow the advice of your doctor or dietitian.
AI features
Some features use an AI model to suggest changes to your plan or to draft a recipe from your description. AI can be wrong, so:
- Every AI suggestion is a proposal. Nothing changes your plan until someone in your household approves it, and you can undo it.
- Bunch's own code checks AI suggestions against everyone's recorded allergies and diets, and removes any that conflict. That check works only from what's recorded, as above.
- A drafted recipe is a starting point. Check its ingredients, amounts, cooking temperatures and times before you cook it.
- AI features have daily limits, and a household's Owner or Admin can turn them off.
Our Privacy Policy explains what's sent to our AI provider. It never includes allergies or diets.
Subscriptions, the free trial, and cancelling
The free trial. Each new household gets 7 days of Bunch free. You don't need to give a card to start, and the trial never turns into a paid subscription by itself. When it ends, planning pauses: you can still see, download and delete everything, and you pick up where you left off when someone subscribes.
The plan. One plan covers the whole household: $7.99 a month, or $79.90 a year, in US dollars, plus any sales tax that applies where you live. The price you'll pay is shown before you subscribe. Only the household's Owner can subscribe, change the plan or cancel.
Automatic renewal. If you subscribe, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and we charge the payment method you gave us the current price at the start of each new period, until you cancel. You agree to this when you subscribe, and we keep a record of that agreement. We email you a confirmation that repeats these terms and explains how to cancel.
Cancelling. You can cancel online, any time, in Bunch: Household → Plan and billing → Cancel subscription. It takes a few clicks, and you can always cancel the same way you subscribed. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then planning pauses. We don't delete anything when you cancel. We don't give refunds for the part of a period you didn't use, except where the law requires it.
Reminders and changes. If you're on the yearly plan, we email you a reminder before each renewal, with the price, the date and how to cancel, and at least once a year whatever your plan. If we change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Payments are processed by Stripe, under Stripe's terms. If a payment fails, we'll let you know and give you a chance to update your payment method before planning pauses.
Your content
What you put in Bunch, such as recipes, notes and plans, stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy and display it only to run Bunch for you and the people in your households, and to make the backups that protect it. You can download it or delete it at any time. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, like a cookbook's recipes copied word for word.
Using Bunch fairly
Don't misuse Bunch. That means not breaking the law with it; not trying to reach other people's accounts or households; not probing, overloading or breaking our systems; not getting around our limits, for example by creating households to get more AI requests or more trials; not copying or reselling the service; and not using it to harass anyone. We may limit, suspend or close accounts that do these things, and we'll tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.
Ending things
You can stop using Bunch and delete your account at any time (Your account → Delete your account). We may stop offering Bunch, or part of it; if we stop offering it entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, time to download your data, and a refund of any prepaid time you can't use.
Disclaimers
Bunch is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that Bunch will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and that any food, recipe or meal plan is safe or suitable for anyone. Some states don't allow these disclaimers, so some may not apply to you.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Bunch. Our total liability for any claim about Bunch is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Disputes
If you have a problem with Bunch, email [email protected] first; most things can be fixed quickly. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and either of us may bring a claim in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, or in small claims court where you live if it qualifies. This doesn't take away any rights your state's consumer protection laws give you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and if a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in Bunch at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then. Price changes follow the rules above.
Other terms
These terms, and the policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and us about Bunch. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them if Bunch is sold or merged, and we'll tell you.
